What To Do After Joining Avon Online – How to Build Your 1st AVON Order
First of all it’s worth mentioning that you need to figure out what direction you want to take with your Avon business. Here are a few questions I’d like you to answer so you have a better idea on what your business goals should be and what you need to be a successful Avon representative.
Do you want to sell a little or a lot?
How much do you need to earn every month?
How will you find Avon customers?
Do you want to sell Avon online only?
How will you promote your Avon business?
What training do you need to help you?
What do you need from your Avon mentor?
Once you have had a chance to determine some of your basic goals you will want to break down your main goals in to smaller ones.
Realistically focus on 14 selling days for a campaign (this will vary depending on when you join). If you sell $10 a day, you will easily make your goal but you will need to talk to at least 10 people. If you contact those individuals and follow-up with them before you submit your first order, you will probably get at least 4 customer orders or more.
Offer Incentives to Customers
Offer an incentive to your potential customers to purchase a minimum of $40. If you can focus on getting a minimum $40 order then you can let your customer know that they will qualify for free shipping by sending their order online. If you feel any type of resistance from your customer, then chime in with the benefits of ordering online.
For example, your customer will get there order faster. They will also get a new customer discount when they use the promotion code: WELCOME10 at checkout. And you should offer to assist in placing their first online order if they mention that are not sure what to do. That is part of what you can offer as an Avon online representative.
For those customers you personally service traditionally, you can keep them coming back every campaign with some perks. You can offer a percentage off their next order or a free product with purchase.
You can make beautiful gift bags with the new brochures, a sample of a lipstick bullet or fragrance and a hand cream. Who doesn’t need a purse-size hand cream? You will also want to include a business card or you can make a postcard with another incentive if they order again in the next campaign.
The most important thing to remember is that need to enjoy your business and treat your customers like royalty.
